| If you want pictures of “props”
and traditional in studio lighting only for your kids pictures then I’m
not the photography studio for you. However, if you want your
child’s true personality to shine then you may consider a portrait
session with Coulter Photography.
Approach: I don’t like to use “props” or elaborate backgrounds so I can focus more on your child. But what really sets me apart is that I prefer taking pictures in a more natural setting for your child. Few children are really comfortable in a studio with big lights and some stranger sticking a large camera in their face. That’s why I prefer to take pictures of them playing in places such as a park, sand box or even at home where they would be most comfortable so I can capture the way they really act. As a father of four I understand the importance of having photographs of my children in each stage of growth and development and that can only be done with “Children Photojournalism”. How it works: I like to treat children like “Mini-Seniors”. We will take a few images in the studio if you wish but then we will do a few portraits downtown or at the park. After that I like to do “Children Photojournalism” and allow them to play and be themselves while I attach the long lens to my camera and stay a distance away while taking pictures so they can play uninterrupted. |
